I believe in the late 70s, with the gas price soaring. The American auto industry experienced the evolution of muscle car. Couple emblems which used to be categorized as muscle car had evolved to daily commute, in order to fight the fierce coming of Japanese econo box. However some emblems still having very strong sentiment of muscle, the traditional rumbling engines, the one punch back pulling, street rolling skid, smoking hot machines...
